The Newton Juneteenth Celebration brings people together to celebrate 161 years since the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans. The event highlights unity, resilience, and community pride through live performances, delicious food, local vendors, music, and more! Newton Community Education is proud to kick off Newton’s Juneteenth Celebration at Newton North High School with a football clinic coached by the New England Patriots rookies in the morning and soccer and basketball clinics in the early afternoon. Kickoff the Day with NCE Clinics Patriots Football Clinic 10:30 AM–12:30 PM | Grades 5–12 | $50 Members of the New England Patriots rookie squad will lead a non-contact football clinic featuring skills stations, drills, and photo opportunities. Drills will focus on passing skills, agility, footwork, and more.
