Volunteer with NCE!

Newton Community Education is a wonderful community resource that serves people at all stages of their lives, from kindergarten through retirement. We are self-sustaining, which means that the fees for classes, clubs, and camps pay our expenses. In the last fiscal year, we reduced our paid staff in order to balance our budget. We are still managing to deliver exceptional customer service and programming, but it’s tight.

We are a welcoming, productive, mission-focused team and would love a few dedicated volunteers to join us in our work. Some positions require a minimum commitment of a day per week, and some are more occasional, like staffing Village Days. We provide a warm, gratifying professional experience and, depending on the hours worked, we offer a free class to our volunteers as a benefit.

Please review our open volunteer positions below and then complete the Volunteer Interest Form. Thank you!
