Advanced 3D Printing, Coding, & Design
If you’ve got the general concepts of 3D printing down, join us to learn more! Take a deeper dive into exploring the world of computer-aided design with BlocksCAD! In this class, you’ll strengthen your computational thinking skills while creating more complex 3D models. Using brand-new design tools, you’ll investigate advanced coding techniques, such as variables, modules, and logic statements. You’ll design unique projects such as art stencils, cookout foods, and exterior landscape features fit for a 3D pool party! You’ll also collaborate with your friends, working together to solve real-world mathematical problems.
Important note: This course is designed for students with prior coding / BlocksCAD experience only. If you need guidance or have any questions about your child’s eligibility, please reach out to our staff at 617-559-6999.
Each student will receive one complimentary 3D print of their choosing. After class concludes, BlocksCAD will print the selected design for eventual pick-up at NCE. BlocksCAD will also provide Chromebooks for students to borrow during each class session.
